Out with the old, in with the new!
Just walking in to the Hotel you can see the change! It no longer smelled of smoke, and I was greeted with a smile from the lady behind the counter and she could hear me! I explained my husband was sick and not feeling well and needed an early check in if possible, thankfully it wasn't an issue.
Last night we planned on driving right past this place, but my husband's immune system had different plans for us. With no other choice we had to stop here, we tried the Country Inn, and NOPE!
Front desk and room service makes it even more of a pleasing experience. Good job,keep it uP
Very clean and the people are very nice. Cost is also very reasonable.
My husband and I stayed here in Septemeber of 2016 and OMG was it horrible!! Beds were awful, place smelled of smoke and we were treated like dirt by the old, black haired lady that checked us in, she first told us she didn't have any rooms, and then tried to accuse me of taking her pen. I asked to complain to the manager, just to find out she WAS! I then asked to speak to the owner, and was informed she owned the hotel and I was free to move on down the road if I wanted. Worst experience ever!!
The rooms are still small, but CLEAN and welcoming and the staff is helpful and made us feel welcome! I spoke with the same young lady whom checked us in, and asked to give a compliment to the manager, only to find out she was the new manager.
BRAVO- to the owners! You have gained a loyal guest! We plan on staying here every year thanks to the changes you've made cosmetically and internally!
Here on business, very clean but small rooms. Do not have an ironing board or iron so I had,to go buy one. Need to press my clothes for work so maybe that's something the could consider investing in. The staff seems friendly. I am pleased so far. This is not the best but not the worst. I went to the Country Inn Motel up the street and that was a nightmare. It was like the Bates Motel, so being at this Motel is like heaven.
$$ decent place with indoor pool. Rooms are small but comfortable and clean / well kept.
A year makes a huge difference...
